What materials did you use? Stretch cotton, contrasting quilting cotton, multi-coloured thread for topstitching

What are you most proud of? I have straightened the collar, the cuffs as well as the pockets and the front pieces, taking the inspiration from other projects I had seen on craftsy. I like a lot the way it has turned out! For the welt pockets, I have changed the design a bit and added piping on the contrasting fabric.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be patient and follow Janet - everything will be fine! Also I have reduced the jacket by one size (M to S) vs. the first one I had made and lengthned the sleeves by 2".

Your jacket is a real inspiration with the added details. Thanks for sharing!!

Great use of contrasting fabrics! I am inspired and can hardly wait to get my pattern and get started on my jacket.
