Make It

This project was made from an independent Craftsy designer's pattern:
Laptop Sleeve with Pocket & Strap Hanna »

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Functional

For: Women

Style: Traditional, Casual

Materials

Leftovers from tote bags we made a couple years ago and my daughter got on clearance at Walmart for 1.00 a yard and cotton quilting material.

What was your inspiration?

My daughter got a new Kindle Fire HD in the larger size, almost as big as my Ipad, so we made bags for each of us.

What are you most proud of?

Working with my daughter. She can sew very well, but is busy and hardly gets time.

Love it! What are the zipper pulls? Did you add something or did they come with the zippers?

They are UF Gator zipper pulls that my daughter got off oh eBay. They are turned backwards though.

By the way, you can post it under your name too, since you made it with me. Then I can follow you.

great job, and nothing better than enjoying something you like with someone you love. Besides making a wonderful bag you made wonderful memories.

Thank you so much, and I agree. I try to drag my daughter in whenever I can. The past two years I have gotten her to do 2 quilts, this bag, and 6 tote bags out of this material. One for each member of the family when they were taking a trip. She's still using her tote and now she has a matching accessory, lol.

Just wanted to add that the lighting wasn't good. The bag is light blue denim and the handle is orange.
