What materials did you use? Cotton twin bed sheet! Plus, an old cotton shirt for under collar and under cuff, dark and light blue thread, plastic white buttons

What are you most proud of? The fit is better than I thought, though I needed to add about in inch to both sides of the front pieces. The buttons are always fun to sew, especially using Pam's technique.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't be afraid to mess up!

Wow!! TobeH, Your shirt looks great, and the fit is fantastic!! You have really been busy working on fine tuning your pattern. It appears that you know exactly what you want/need to do for your next one. I am so happy to see your new shirt, and thank you for inspiring your classmates and me :-)) Take care, Pam

Thanks, Pam! Yes, it's amazing how many different aspects of pattern altering, developing, creating there are. A little mind boggling! But doing just a little at a time helps me understand the give and take process of it. Mainly, it's just a lot of fun!

Tobe I love your sheet shirt :-)! It appears to fit you very well and your cuffs are gorgeous.

Thanks, Una! Yes, better than I thought it would due to my mistakes, but I'll know what to do next time! The next one is going to be bright green with some dark brown trim features...we'll see how that goes!

Great shirt and what unique choice of fabric! I'll need to keep that option in mind for future projects.

Thanks, Papalene! Yes, it was supposed to be a muslin (though it still is in a way) but my wife convinced me to finish it. Kind of my Brad Pitt in Ocean's 11 style...!

I love you shirt! I am also really pleased to find someone else that uses bed sheets for all sorts of garments :-) . Great job.

Thank you! Yes, it's a bit flamboyant (!) but it made for a good muslin at least! My third one came out a lot better, and I'll post it soon.
