Hello Matthew, Congratulations on completing the second drawing assignment. You are quite right to comment that one should look for or imagine the vanishing points and analyze the light. It is appreciated that you included a reference image; but, of course, we always ask for more from you. How about sharing the information on material and dimensions of the paper? My first concern with your second assignment is that your border is not substantial enough, it needs a bit more consistency with the tone. Take a few minutes more next time and you will be surprised how much it helps. This will be more apparent as you add value to the drawing. In regards to perspective, notably vanishing points, you did very well. Not only do the sides of the house converge to appropriate vanishing points but so do the windows and door. Also, the roofs behave according to the rules of perspective.

[criticism continued] In both the previous drawing of the bridge and this of the house, your structures have a solidity to them. At some point, you will want to add tone; that is, you will want to model these with tonal values to enhance the linear expression. Once again, well done. I look forward to seeing the post of your next image.
