What advice would you give someone starting this project? Mercedes Tarasovich-Clark is such a fabulous instructor! The classes are wonderful. Try the sweater on as you go to make sure all the decreases and increases are in the right place and the right size - it is the best way to make a sweater! I knit the sleeves two at a time on a long circular needle (two cables from my interchangeable needles joined together), the magic loop technique (like knitting socks), because I thought it would be easier for me to make sure the sleeves would be the same. I kept decreasing in pattern until the end of the sleeves because I wanted the sleeves to be tighter at the wrist, so I could push them up (I wanted the look of 3/4 sleeves, but needed long sleeves because they are more practical in our cold climate). Because the sweater is knit in the round and I used interchangeable needles, I used a smaller size needle on the left hand side so that the knitting would slip around more easily.
