I enjoyed knitting this sweater. I particularly liked the fact that when I was finished knitting, the sweater was done! Just finished knitting a matching cowl from the leftover yarn. It was very helpful to have Mercedes available for advice when I got stuck in a stitch counting "crisis". The short row shaping lesson was pretty intense, but the rest, aside from my counting issue, was easy and more relaxed. I did resort to 'lifelines' during the knitting process. This was my first time working a lace pattern. It was easy! I might knit this sweater again, but in a color that doesn't show dog hair! Thanks, Mercedes, for the pattern, instruction, help and encouragement! I'm very happy with my new sweater.

Absolutely gorgeous. I'm struggling that my computer won't let me play the lessons when I can't understand the instructions so I am frustrated but love the class. Can't wait to be where you are!!!

When you find a color that doesn't show dog hair, let me know! German Shepherd hair seems to be particularly adept at weaving its way into the knitting.
