Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Materials

yarn, crochet hook

What was your inspiration?

I love to crochet flowers- they are quick and fun, a great use for yarn scraps and a great way to add color to any bag or outfit.

What are you most proud of?

I love how easy these are to work, and I think being shown the instructions makes it even simpler to figure out. Once you get the basic hang of it, you can go wild dressing up your flowers with buttons, beads, sequins, etc.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't be afraid to play - half of the fun is seeing how different yarns and colors work together.

I have some idea how to crochet,(single crochet double crochet and chain stitches) I have been knitting for 5 years and have some projects done, like scarves hats socks and afghans. I would love to learn how to crochet flowers to add my garments that I make. I would like to know if I sign up for these course online and find difficult for my level , I would be able to get my money back?? Thank you Monica.

Hi Monica- I think you would be able to do it if you know the basic stitches and are willing to watch the videos a few times (there is a refresher portion, too, with all of your stitches refreshed). But the good news is that Craftsy has a 100 % money-back guarantee, so yes, if you find that the class is above your level, you can request a refund. I hope you'll try it.
