Scrumbling in Monochrome

Instructions

This is free-form crochet. Basically you take a hook and some yarn and you make stitches as you feel like it until you have a patch (a scrumble). When you have a lot you can start to piece them together and embellish them.

What a beautiful end result from a truly creative process. I just love everything about it! Is that cloth fabric or felted fiber or something else entirely you used to edge around it?

It's satin around the edge, but there are patches of felt made out of off-cuts from the yarn in the scrumbles.
