What was your inspiration?
This was a gift for a friend.
Whenever, I do this project, I always give the recipient (or the person commissioning the job, if it's a surprise gift) the option of choosing their own favorite scriptures. This is for a little booklet I make to accompany the completed afghan describing the square patterns. It makes a lovely gift of sentimental and inspirational value.
What are you most proud of?
How beautiful it is and how happy it always makes the recipient to receive one.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Label your squares as you complete them...it makes it much easier to assemble the afghan later.
