What are you most proud of? I think the second block turned out pretty good for not wanting to do it :). I was trying to do something different than the "sunny" block but didn't know what to do. Eventually this just was what I came up with, and it's not fantastic but I like how it turned out. Once again, I took ugly pictures so the colors don't do it justice.

These are beautiful! I think you're being too hard on yourself. I too found making the hexis themselve quite tedious. Maybe that's why Amy had us do only a few? But I really like how they lend to creativity and some of the nicest work to date is in this month's blocks.

You are right, they are tedious. I'm just glad I didn't have to make a whole quilt like that :). But yes, it is good to try new things and they will add creativity to the quilt.

I like your block. I do not like applique so won't do those blocks. But you did a great job on yours.
