What materials did you use? I had a huge pile of little tiny string scraps that I needed OUT of my sewing room. I used a polyester batting and the backing was also in my stash.

I studied the Machine Quilting: Free Motion & More class by Wendy Burns. I also reviewed these two U-Tube tutorials: How to Join Up Quilt as You go Blocks and Borders by the Gourmet Quilter - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ji8BLS2rNHA - and Free Motion Quilt Along: Quilting in Rows by Leah Day - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aD77675TYnU

This was my first time to try to free motion quilt a full sized quilt. My previous efforts have been potholders, table runners and bed runners. It was also my first effort to do any type of random stippling. Needless to say, I need lots of practice.
