Style: Traditional

Materials

I have used only cotton scrapps. Bottom line thread in the bobbin.

What was your inspiration?

I have taken two courses here on Crafsty: Beyond mahine quilting and Design it, quilt it. I have learned so much, and wanted to do something with feathers.

What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of my feathers.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Take courses here at Craftsy, and make all the samplers as advised.

Beautiful piecing and quilting!! and you should be SO proud of all those feathers!! I only did a toddler size quilt for my son ,and thought I was going to pull all my hair out getting every feather just right!

I know the feeling. May be this is one of the most importatnt things I've learned: they don't have to be perfect. But they look well enough, and the whole quilt looks good.
