What materials did you use? Because I have not been doing Patchwork and Quilting long I did not have any scraps, so I was able to chose the colours and sizes myself.

What are you most proud of? I am very proud of the fact that I have completed 2 quilts in the last 5 months and my family love them. This pattern is easy once you get going and is one I will do again, allbeit in another colour.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Get organised. I split the fabics up, cut them all to size and then put everything I needed for EACH block in a separate clear bag. That way I was not daunted by how much I had to do , I could complete or half complete a block and not get things mixed up.

Really, really like this one - very dramatic!

Love the color, great suggestion of keeping each block organized, I will have to try that next time.

Great use of one style of block. Perfect for stash busting

Is magnificent too strong a word? This is simply breathtaking. Great work and lucky family to have it. I loved that your mother is still using the needle case you made as a child. What fun
