The fabrics for the blocks came from other projects (two jackets, a table runner) so the scraps were sort of coordinated before I began and I figured because they were all strong colours that they'd all work together. PS - I store scraps from each project in their own bag so when I come across them they work together and I add whatever I might need from other scraps.
