What advice would you give someone starting this project? The border is from the new york beauty and worked exactly perfect no trimming nothing...just goes to show you can you any pattern for the borders

I love how you combined the border with the Kool Kaleidoscope project! It looks like you crazy/random pieced some fabrics and then used them to paper piece the border using the New York Beauty border pattern. Is that right? Or is the border just crazy pieced? Whichever method you used, it's quite effective and cool (or should I say "Kool"?)!

Yes Peggy I went a bit crazy, but it just works, and yes I used the paper piecing New York Beauty border pattern. and Kool is probably right. hehe Thanks Peggy

actually delete delete delete start again. I used up all my scraps from making the kaleidoscope parts. so no I didnt actually sew them to look like this. the Kaleidoscope is made up of 5 strips sew together then I cut the parts of the Kaleidoscope from that, hence why the pieces are very random. Does that make sense??? but yes the rest of the info is right.
