What materials did you use? Scrap pieces of quilting cotton, satin cord, handspun yarns, metallic yarn, rayon yarns, sewing yarns

My first stitch & slash pillow in lot's of pink, made for my 5 year old grand daughter. I didn't have any nice batik fabric, so I used some scrap pieces of quilting cotton. Love the slashing part of the project. Stitching was difficult, some parts didn't have enough room to stitch. The piece is also my first attempt of free motion quilting (omg that is hard!) Definitly given these techniques another try.

What a beautiful pillow! Love everything about it -- the fabrics, the design, and yes, your free motion stitching! I bet your granddaughter loves it too!

I love it! Just watched the whole class and now have to choose my colors. Hope my project turns out golf as nice as yours!
