What are you most proud of? The stole is knitted in two pieces, then joined at the middle by an easy method that does not require grafting. The resulting seam is nearly invisible to all but the most discerning eye.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Select a yarn as soft as thistle down in colors of Scotch thistle as shown, or in a natural downy white, or anything that delights your knitterly senses.

I have this pattern and now that vie read your comments Jackie, I also have the yarn! I have had both for a few years; each waiting for the perfect partner, little did I know they belonged together. Thank you for the comments. Craftsy people, Jackie's lace patters are fantastic!! So clear, simplified, concise and beautiful, I highly recommend all of her patterns!!
