What materials did you use? A nasty dark green lycra fabric from my local shop - this was my first try and I didn't want to use my nice fabrics.

What are you most proud of? I was really pleased with this. (Although I am not delighted by the only photo I could persuade my husband to take not very flattering.) The fabric and the color arent really me, so this is purely a practice piece and not a wear out garment. But now I am confident that if I can find some nice fabric I can replicate this t-shirt into something I would certainly wear. T-shirts and shorts are the go-to clothes every day here in Cayman.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you are interested in learning more about sewing with knits, do drop over to my blog and take a look at my fleece hoodie which was the first project with the course. I highly recommend it. I use the salvage of the knit fabric to stabilize the shoulder. Try it next time...

The fabric actually looks great I thought it was high-end viscose or silk jersey from the photo! I like the fit as well as I like my tees more fitted. Hope my first attempt looks as good as yours!

I'm working now on mine and I have the same fitting issues than you. I'm going to adjust it and cut a nice piece from the bottom. Next time I'll make a size smaller.
