Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: I had a client request a "schnauzer cake" and since I have loved schnauzers for years I jumped at the opportunity! She turned out pretty cute, and the client loved it. It is a vanilla bean cake covered in vanilla buttercream and covered in fondant.

How did you create the schnauzer? Did you cut it free-form? What about the face? I want to throw a 1st bday party for my little schnauzer Lulu, and I want to make a schnauzer cake. (Obviously I'd have to find alternatives to the fondant, chocolate, etc.) Any tips would be great! Beautiful cake.
