What was your inspiration?
Elizabeth Hartman was my inspiration. I enjoyed making and using my design wall. I wonder if my negative space is negative enough. I can't wait to get started on the next project.
What are you most proud of?
The small project size gave me a chance to practice my free-motion quilting, and I think I got better at it. I also made a pieced back using the design wall. I still have more learning to do in that regard since more than I expected was trimmed away.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Use the small project size as an opportunity to experiment and perfect your craft. Enjoy!
