Made in a class at my local sewing center. All work was done on a serger. You could probably adapt the process to do it on a regular sewing machine if you don't have a serger.Swirling lines down length of fabric done with a cover stitch. Sewn on wrong side of fabric, metallic for one of the threads.
Gathering lines every 6" done with a gathering stitch & settings.
