It is very easy!! You basically chain as long as you want it to be, sc on the second ch from the hook then *sk 2, 7 dc on same ch, sk2 sc on ch. repeat from * till you get to the end, then you turn the work and flip it and start again, now it will be easier cause you ill have the spaces marked by the work you did on the other side. when you reach the end you just change colors and start dc all around... I basically winged it but depending on how ruffled you want it you might want to skip one stitch the other and so on....:)
