What was your inspiration?
I was inspired by my dislike of working ribbed edges and my love of cables, even simple ones like this.
What are you most proud of?
I had never seen cables connected like this before, to create a horizontal scalloped edging and I was able to work out the process, which is explained in the pattern with step by step photos.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I designed with 2-4 inches ease ( this photo shows it with 4inches ease), as it is meant to drape, almost like a tunic. If you like the look, be sure to check how much ease you will have.
