What was your inspiration?

My daughter wanted a quilt made from leftover fabric I have used in a multitude of projects over the past few years. It was hard nailing down exactly what she wanted so I made a few blocks based on her ideas and together we decided what to use and how big to make the squares.

What are you most proud of?

Not letting this drive me crazy because nothing goes together and it's really the first time I've done a quilt with out a specific pattern to follow.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Use your imagination! I have everything from African prints to football teams to holiday prints included in the squares. Don't try to apply quilting "rules" to the squares just make them how ever you want. You'll be pleasantly surprised in how they come out. There is one nine patch square that was specifically pieced based on the fabric print. Can you figure out which one?

This is very busy, but I like it very much. Came out very well, mostly because the fabrics are coordinated. Good job!

Thank you very much! It was hard trying to get things to coordinate and I'm not sure they really are but I still like the outcome.
