What was your inspiration?

My little tiny cutters were just crying out to be used! Never fail to go into a nice Kitchen store and see what they have that you might be able to use for your metal clay work.

What are you most proud of?

That they are just so sweet.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This is a good beginner project when you are starting out in metal clay.

Great idea! Reminds me of finding guitar cookie cutters and using them for clay ... i made small molds for paper out of aluminum flashing ( inexpensive).Would flashing be okay for silver clay, I wonder,, since i remember something saying keep foil away....

If you oil the cutters, and the just touch the cutter for a minute, you should be OK. The have found that the longer an item is in contact, the stronger the reaction.

You are right. They are sweet. How fun to make customized buttons to adorn one's handmade creations.
