What materials did you use? Stretch Poly Satin from Joann's

What are you most proud of? Just the fact that I sewed an intermediate level dress in satin is an accomplishment in itself. I'm not proud of the zipper, but I think it looks okay. I did the best I could. I used fusible tricot to stabilize the seam. If anyone has tips to share with me on how to get rid of the puckers on the zipper, I am open to suggestions.

Worried about the puckers? Take your dress to the cleaners for a professional pressing. Sometimes it only needs that special pressing to help get that look that you really want; besides, your seams look great and should lay flat.

I think the zipper looks brilliant! Given than satin is so evil you're brave to attempt it :) The dress is really beautiful, you should be proud of your work.
