|Here are some details about my project:|
|Style||Traditional, Retro / Vintage, Classic, Cute|
What materials did you use? Printer paper, 'muslin' for mock up, 100% Cotton fabric- 2 1/2 yards, woven fusible interfacing, thread
What are you most proud of? So far, that I made a muslin and checked for fit before actually cutting into the real fabric. Added 4/15/13: Now that I've finished, I think I'm the most proud of the collar. I love the cut of it and the way it lays down.
What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time, relax and have fun with each step. When taping the pattern together, don't be intimidated. Trim the border of one side to aid in matching it up to the right arrow. Put on some music and take your time with the process. Plan to take time watching each step of the class, even if you think you know how to do it already. The little tips added are all worth it, and I found I improved even with what I knew by watching someone else do it smoothly.
