Sassy Librarian Blouse

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Sassy Librarian Blouse »

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Clothing

For: Women

Style: Cute, Retro / Vintage

Materials

cotton quiltwork

What was your inspiration?

The 1950s and also how Christine Haynes presented the lesson in a very inspiring way

What are you most proud of?

I was able to repair the top. It turned out too big because i chose the wrong measurement. Now I know that when making tops I should get bust measurement .

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Use muslin first because the style of the blouse can be quite tricky.

Thanks to you Christine. I made another vintage blouse following your suggestions on collars, understithing and pleats. I will post it here as soon as I get those buttons done.
