What materials did you use? Cotton, polyester thread, fusible woven interfacing

This is the muslin I made for the Sassy Librarian Blouse, as I felt pretty sure that I woud need to make changes to the fit! As you can see, I cut the size I THOUGHT would be correct, but it turned out to be significantly too large, so I'm reducing the size for next time. The bust dart needed to be moved too. I'm thinkign I might need to increase the armscye, as I may have reduced that unwittingly when I made the other changes. Oh well, I'm still learning! So, now let's see how that translates into the finished blouse!

You certainly seem to be doing very well for someone who is learning! Also love the room you are working in with all the natural light. What a great place to be able to sew (and see).

Thank you! Actually my sewing room/study is wood panelled and was originally brown with grey curtains. So drab! I painted the wood white and replaced the curtains with bamboo blinds. Now it's my favourite roomin the house :)
