Sassy Librarian #1

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Sassy Librarian Blouse »

Instructions

Make a muslin or two. It's worth it!

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Clothing

For: Women

Style: Retro / Vintage

Materials

Cotton

What was your inspiration?

I love the pattern and I just had to make this shirt.

What are you most proud of?

1) That I finally have a blouse that fits me 2) That I've learned how to make a successful FBA 3) That nobody asks if I made it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I'll pass on what I learned while making this blouse: When everyone says to use high bust measurementfor your bust measurement, they are right.

I'm addicted to this pattern! The only reason I've stopped is because it suddenly got really cold and I now need to make long sleeved shirts and Halloween costumes.

I am encouraged by your success. You do have so much to be proud of with this garment. Look in the mirror and take a bow each time you put it on.

Good work! all three. I agree about the high bust measurements, I learned that too when making my blouse. For the moment I work with the tucks on blouse 2
