What was your inspiration?
This is a plaid I was to chicken to use in the couture dress class. Glad it didn't work out, I love it for this blouse
What are you most proud of?
The plaid matches and the blouse really fits nice. I had fun useing old mixed up buttons. The shirt just kind of called for something a little whimsical plus my grandma would love it.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
No muslin or pattern fitting. I just used my size and sewed it up. The only change I made was to enlarge the arm holes a little so I didn't have to ease so much.
Loved the technique to reduce stitch size at the end of darts. It is so easy and really looks nice.
If you are new to sewing you might want to enlarge your stitch a little. If you make a mistake with that small stitch as suggested it is hard to rip out and fix your mistake.
Great class always something new to learn.
