What was your inspiration?
The blouse pattern is just lovely and on a trip to Japan I'd picked up some great fabric. The sassy-ness of the top seemed to fit the retro cuteness of the kittens^
What are you most proud of?
The course gave me so many tips on finishing and I"m very pleased that I took my time with all of the aspects, rather than rushing through the bits I don't like doing.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I'm a self -taught sewer with lots of knowledge but also lots of bad habits. I would say watch each section all the way through first - even if you think you know how to do that part.
I"m looking forward to trying Version 2 but I"m going to have to make some adjustments to the fit - my shoulders are petite sized and as the rest of me isn't, it's easy for me to look swamped in tops.
