I liked the retro feel of the pattern and I've never made a blouse.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I made version one with the collar first and it was quite large so I think the pattern has quite a bit of ease. On that one, I made larger darts and took in the sides and it just didn't look good or fit good but it was a good experience and the collar turned out cute; so that was my muslin. On this one, I sized down. I had some gapping at the top of the back and I put in some sort of pleat (I think?!) that matched the release pleat on the bottom. You can see that on the back picture. Beings the blouse is delicate and small, I thought the bow we made in class was too big and overwhelming, so I bought a strip of velvet and made a bow out of that. Then I made a black linen pencil skirt using Diana Rupp's Craftsy class pattern. Now if only it would quit raining and I had somewhere to go!!
