This is a Japanese art form that dates back many years. It is hand stitched, which I love. Sashiko is my new favorite. This bag was inspired by “The Ultimate Sashiko Sourcebook by by Susan Briscoe” I ordered my book directly from her, and was very happy to get a signed copy. What was your inspiration?

I love all things blue and white, so when I was introduced to sashiko, I was hooked.

What are you most proud of?

This is a favorite piece that was given to my daughter as a gift. She loves it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?
