Wool/Cashmere Fabric Velvet Fabric Feather filled Cushion Pads

What was your inspiration?

I had a piece of wool/cashmere blend fabric that I wanted to use but it wasn't big enough to make myself a garment, etc. I had just put up new curtains in red/black so thought I'd make some cushions to match. I remember seeing a similar design in a book many years ago so decided to have a go! I used the black woollen fabric for the covers and some red velvet curtain fabric for the sashes.

What are you most proud of?

That my 'retro' cushion covers are cosy and luxurious and were very inexpensive to make as I already had the fabrics. I love the result!
