This was really simple to make! I put oilcloth inside, under the batting, so that rude puppies wouldn't be able to soil Santa's velvet suit. (As it turned out, although plenty of puppies sat on Santa's lap, they were all very polite, and there were no accidents.)Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
I just started taking baby steps in quilting last year, right after Christmas, and found Jenny's tutorials on line. (I learned so very much! Thanks, Jenny!) Santa (my husband) saw the tutorial this quilt was in, and loved it so much that he ordered the very same fabric so I could make him one just like it for this year.
So, although this particular quilt wasn't in any of the lessons that Jenny showed us in "Quilting Quickly" it's her design, it's very quick and easy, and I wanted to share it with all her students!
What are you most proud of?
This is really only the second quilt that I've finished. So I'm pretty proud of all of it!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Watch Jenny's tutorial a couple of times, write down any steps you think you won't be able to remember easily, and then dive in! It's really easy!
