Don't let darts that point to the wrong place or straining seams ruin a perfect garment. Kathleen Cheetham shows you how to adjust for any size bust.

|Here are some details about my project:|
What materials did you use? Light denim (animal print), cotton sateen (turquoise), polyester thread, Steam a Seam.
What are you most proud of? I made the first one out of a light denim (animal print), and tried all the darts in the pattern. I adjusted the darts in the back, but am not sure that they were in the right place for me. I'd like some feedback on the fitting, as my aim is to continually improve the fitting. I find Kathleen's advice and techniques are so helpful.
What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make sure you mark the darts clearly--on the underside for the main fabric, and on the top side for the facing. It is remarkable how they go together well for a flattering neckline. Follow directions for the sleeves, but for a change, you could leave out the darts on the sleeve for a more open sleeve.
