Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: For this cake I used fondant to cover the cake, modeling chocolate for the waves, white chocolate for the seashells using the Wilton candy mold,gum paste for the sandals using a template from the computer, daisy cutters, edible glue, chocolate powder dust to color the seashells,crushed graham crackers, for the sand, nonpareil pearls, and letter stamps to make imprint on sand.
What are you most proud of? The fact that I was only given a weeks notice to make this cake. I had seen the wax paper transfer method from Jessica Harris class but had not actually practiced it. I was so scared that I would not be able to pull it off, but in the end I did. Whew!
