Instructions

I would like feed back on how this project is looking before I sew the blocks together. My project is supposed to be the hills around where I live and the warm spring colors when the wild flowers begin to bloom, such as vetch and lavendar...

Materials

Cotton Batiks

What was your inspiration?

A photo that a friend gave me.

What are you most proud of?

Using just fabrics that I had, and not buying anything new for practice blocks.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just do it! Judith Trager makes it very doable!

I like both of them, but I think #2 is more interesting and may help you to achieve the rolling hills effect more easily. The colors are beautiful.

Both arrangements look good. How looks like the top? The back and the top have to have something common.
