What materials did you use? Cotton materials, cotton thread for piecing & polyester thread for quilting

Finished my quilt binding this a.m. I did it a new way for me. Leah has on you-tube a video where you finish sewing the binding on top of the quilt. Works great. Sure had a lot of fun making this quilt even added a couple blocks of my own. Thank you Amy Gibson & Leah Day.

Lovely quilt here, makes me think of taking a look at completing mine. I like your color choices and the quilting really makes it pop. You say that the binding is finished on the front, is that by machine or by hand?

The binding is finished by machine with a stitch like the blanket stitch. Pastels have been hard for me to work with so that was a challenge.

Well you sure have done a wonderful job of that. I have Leah Day's class, so I think I'll give it a try. I have seen a few quilts that have the binding finished on the top and didn't really like them. Yours looks so neat. Thanks for the eye candy and the inspiration.
