What materials did you use? Essex Linen by Robert Kaufman, 4-ply DMC mouliné, embroidery needle, 19-cm embroidery hoop.
What are you most proud of? That I finished this sampler in one sitting. I wasn't too fond of all the V-shaped stitches. I also like the couching stitch in my own design a lot.
What advice would you give someone starting this project? Trace as is, if you're using a water soluble pen, not a mirror image. These are the stitches: 1. Chain stitch. 2. Zigzag chain stitch. 3. Open chain. 4. Detached chain and Lazy Daisy. 5. Fly stitch. 6. Feather stitch. 7. Buttonhole stitch. 8. Buttonhole wheel. 9. Couching stitch.
