I tried a variety of different patterns on this quilt - as it is a Sampler - I wanted to do a lot of different blocks in the gator colors. But the sashings are white satin and when I was quilting it, I made sure to sew on the top of these to be sure that they would not come loose.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
My daughter! I made this for her wedding...she and her husband both graduated from UF and are gator fans...so I wanted to make something really differnt and a sampler has different patterns for each block...and here it is. It measures 78" W x 91" L
What are you most proud of?
How well it looks and they really liked it too.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
To make a sampler, you need to have different blocks - but they can be in similar colors...just have fun with it...anything is possible.
