What was your inspiration?
I couldn't have done with cake without the instruction and inspiration provided by Jacqueline Butler in the Craftsy Class - Handcrafted Sugar Flowers! The cake was inspired by Tracy Auseklis' cake that appear on pg 131 in Cake Central Magazine April/May 2010The inspiration for the bird nest is from Thersa Willerford's cake that appeared on pgs 34-35 in Cake Central Magazinew, April/May 2010.
What are you most proud of?
This is my first time working with gum paste and I can't imagine making flowers with any other medium.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Practice, practice, practice
