Instructions

I created this project as a use for the tremendous amount of junk mail I get. I also use studio scraps in order to use up some of the "stuff", I accumulate by not throwing anything away.

Difficulty:

Category: Paper Crafts

Type of item: Functional

For: Women

Style: Hipster, Whimsical, Mod, Cute, Eco-Friendly, Funky, Casual

Materials

Junk mail, acrylic gesso, paint, stencils, stamps, ribbon

What was your inspiration?

Piles of junk mail that accumulate, especially over the holidays.

What are you most proud of?

The look and feel of the finished journal.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Use thicker pieces of junk mail, like nicer catalogs and postcard mailings. I used Thick postcards for the covers.
