Is this your project? Can you share instructions or a pattern with the Craftsy community?

Difficulty:

Category: Jewelry

Type of item: Accessory

For: Unisex

Style: Ethnic

Materials

I used African Trade beads--Krobo sand cast and green vaseline beads. Copper accents. Some of the beads are very old and show the wear of several owners and travel from Africa to my studio (who knows how many bumps and thumps)!

What was your inspiration?

The beads themself.

What are you most proud of?

The way the colors blend

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Always use wire guards when you use heavier beads to insure a quality piece of jewelry.

(Sorry I hit enter too soon). The other beads are also glass and they are called Sand caste beads. The other beads used are Ethiopeian copper prayer beads, krobo glass and a lot of copper spacer beads. None of the beads are made of clay. If you like clay beads. I make them and sell them.
