What was your inspiration?
I love animals so I create a lot of pieces with animals in them... This inspiration came from the Philadelphia Zoo and Six Flags Safari.
What are you most proud of?
I love the originality of these pieces. I absolutely love the rubber stamps and I love the way it all came together to create a 3D masterpiece.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Look for sales, unique stamps, think "inside" the box (haha) and most of all, have lots of fun! I really enjoyed the solitude of making these pieces. A lot of thought went into how I imagined the finished project.
Actually, my best advise... when stamping the animals, always stamp before you apply the papers together; that way, if you mess up with the stamp, you don't have to start all over again.
