After seeing Laura making the first block for the 2013 Block of the Month club, I was inspired to try making a log cabin block and, from there, used her instructions to create this quilt, my first of this size (96"x96"). It is machine pieced on my Great Grandmother's Singer Genie and entirely hand quilted. The text is in two different languages because the bride is French and the groom is English. Overall, it took about 700hrs and around 500$.

Beautiful! Love the colors. 700 hours? Hand quilted? Almost 100 inches square? You are ambitious... Succesfully so. I am sure the couple were thrilled to get this. I am totally impressed. Thanks for sharing. :-) :-) :-)
