What materials did you use? I used 100% cotton for all fabric pieces. Metallic threads for binding and embellishment. Used invisible thread for quilting. Colored pencils for shading.

What are you most proud of? I am most proud of the face, even though next time I would use more shades that have a more gradual color. Creating a quilt edge without binding was a great time saver and I love the metallic thread I used!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just do it. It's easy to adjust and improvise the fabrics as your move forwad. Also use the lightest fusing material you can find. When I addeed some hand embroidery, I had no problm, but so many layers didn't feel great either!
