What was your inspiration?

Love wrap tops and find them to be universally flattering.

What are you most proud of?

I pulled this project out of a possible state of failure. Initially it looked plain and had some fit issues. I decided that this top needed something... frilly added to it. I settled on the neck ruffle idea after playing around with some leftover scraps in my fabric stash. I also decided to add an inner tie as well as two hook and eyes for modesty since the slippery fabric kept showing too much gap in the front. The original pattern also called for a much fuller cuffed sleeve which I decided to replace with a simpler sleeve.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Be ready and willing to make some alterations to make this work for you.

Love the neck ruffle! I've been contemplating this pattern as a layering piece for fall/winter. The ruffle totally makes it!
