What was your inspiration?
I was inspired by one of my favorite bloggers -- Goodbye Valentino -- who has made this top several times.
What are you most proud of?
Well, I am not adept with my ruffler attachment so had to do the ruffle the old-fashioned way, with gathering stitches. The stiffness of the organdy made it a bit cumbersome but it turned out okay.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
To make this dress pattern into a top, you need to fold out a lot of fullness. I also had to add 2 dead darts in the neck edge to eliminate gaping. Other than that, it was easy peasy.
